Plastics and Environmental Challenges – An eventful day of discussions and discoveries

On May 15, 2025, Polytechnique Montreal hosted the event Plastics and Environmental Challenges: At the Crossroads of Science, Innovation, and Public Perception, a must-attend event for anyone concerned about environmental issues related to plastics.

Inspiring lectures, lively discussions, dynamic networking... the day was marked by a diversity of perspectives and high-quality exchanges between researchers, industry representatives, students, and curious citizens.

From morning coffee to the closing cocktail, every moment contributed to fueling reflection on concrete and innovative solutions.

Organized by SPE Québec, this event also supported the next generation, as proceeds are reinvested in student scholarships and awareness initiatives.
